Chunghwa Telecom (CHT New Taipei Sanchong IDC) Data Center

This data center occupies a total building area of 1,818 square meters across nine main floors and three basement levels. It supports over 170 racks, which can be configured for Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, or Shared Rackspace.

The center offers 42U rack units in two dimensions: 120×60 cm and 90×60 cm. Raised floor heights range from 30 to 45 cm, and the facility is designed with a robust floor loading capacity of 500 kg/m². The building is engineered for resilience, with a seismic resistance rating of up to 270 gal.

Power infrastructure is built for high availability, featuring N+1 redundancy for diesel generators with fuel reserves capable of supporting up to 55 hours of runtime depending on load. The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system employs a 2N architecture to ensure complete redundancy. Standard racks are provisioned with 2 kW of primary and redundant power, and Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) support both NEMA L5-20R and L6-30R configurations. Fire protection is state-of-the-art, utilizing VESDA detection alongside FM200 and Novec 1230 automatic suppression systems.

Security is maintained 24/7 by onsite personnel. Access control is stringent, combining Biometric and Card Access systems. Continuous CCTV surveillance monitors all areas, with entrance and exit footage retained for six months and all other areas for three months.

Connectivity is anchored by HiNet backbone nodes, with two diverse entry points using separate in-building paths to ensure reliability. The facility provides 24/7 Smart Hands (Remote Hands) and onsite technical support. Maximum power per rack is 2 kW, ensuring adequate capacity for various IT infrastructure needs.
