Strategically located near the A12 motorway, Senselan operates two data centers in Düdingen. The primary facility at Bonnstrasse 20, operational since 2010, offers 800 m² of fully built-out whitespace—four times the size of the original Duensstrasse 1 site. This infrastructure provides flexible housing options, ranging from shared rackspace and partial cabinets to full cabinets and private cages, catering to diverse business scales.

The facilities prioritize high-level security through a multi-layered defense system. Access is strictly managed via authorization lists, security gates, key cards, and PIN codes, while the physical perimeter is protected by 24/7 Securitas monitoring and CCTV surveillance. Individual racks are further secured with personalized locks. To mitigate internal risks, the sites are equipped with an advanced early-warning system for smoke and humidity, integrated with an automatic fire suppression system that reports directly to the building management system.

Senselan boasts a high-performance 100 Gigabit backbone with redundant connections across multiple providers to ensure maximum uptime. The network is supported by two peering networks, providing a robust environment for high-speed data transfer. Clients also benefit from 24/7 Remote Hands support, with competent technicians available at any time to assist with hardware or connectivity issues.

To guarantee continuous operation, the data centers utilize redundant UPS systems, featuring separate rooms for emergency battery systems and diesel power generators. This configuration protects against any external utility failures. Electricity billing is transparent, based strictly on consumption, ensuring a predictable and fair cost model for clients.

A pioneer in ecological efficiency, Senselan is ISO 14064 certified and runs on 100% natural, renewable energy. The cooling architecture utilizes "free cooling" whenever outside temperatures drop below 15°C.

By implementing a "hot and cold air separation" design similar to architectures used by Intel and Cisco the facility maximizes passive cooling. Furthermore, the waste heat generated by the servers is repurposed to heat the local IGZ industrial center, saving approximately 100,000 liters of heating oil annually.
