Rucolo, LLC has inaugurated a state-of-the-art data center in Perm, Russia, designed to meet the highest industry standards for reliability and efficiency. The facility features two dedicated equipment rooms housing a total of 68 cabinets. Each cabinet is engineered with two independent beams per frame to provide robust structural support for high-density hardware. To accommodate various client needs, the center offers flexible colocation options including full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rackspace, all supported by professional remote hands services.
Power Infrastructure and Redundancy
The data center boasts a fully built-out power capacity of 0.5 MW. To ensure continuous operation, the facility is equipped with two 500 kW Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). In the event of a utility failure, these UPS batteries can sustain the full load for 10 minutes, allowing a seamless transition to the two 500 kW diesel generators. The on-site fuel tank supports 12 hours of autonomous operation, backed by a guaranteed contract for continuous diesel fuel replenishment.
Cooling and Environmental Control
To maintain optimal hardware performance, the center utilizes an N+1 cooling redundancy strategy. This climate control system integrates precision air conditioners and chillers to ensure precise temperature and humidity management. This redundant setup guarantees that even if a cooling unit fails, the facility remains within the required thermal parameters to prevent equipment overheating.
Security, Standards, and Connectivity
The facility is built in strict compliance with GOST R 70627-2023 and Tier 3 standards, ensuring high availability and professional-grade infrastructure. Security is managed through advanced Access Control Systems (ACS) and comprehensive CCTV surveillance. Regarding connectivity, the center is linked via its own dedicated fiber-optic communication line to local Perm operators and major backbone providers, facilitating robust peering networks for low-latency data transfer.
