Digital Realty (LKK1) Data Center

LKK1 is a compact data center situated in Mopo Onibeju Village, Lagos, designed to foster regional digital growth. The facility spans 260 square meters (2,799 square feet) and offers a variety of scalable colocation options. Clients can choose from single cabinets, full suites, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and custom cages. "Remote Hands" services are also available for technical assistance.

The facility is engineered for high availability with a total fully built-out power capacity of 2 MW. To ensure operational continuity and protect against power disruptions, LKK1 implements an N+1 redundancy model for its Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. This resilience is further enhanced by an N+1 redundancy model for its standby power infrastructure.

To support high-performance workloads, LKK1 utilizes efficient thermal management systems that also follow an N+1 redundancy model. This robust cooling setup ensures that all equipment operates within optimal temperature ranges, maintaining reliability and supporting demanding IT infrastructure 24/7.

Security is a primary focus, with comprehensive measures in place around the clock. The facility is protected by 24/7 onsite security staff, constant CCTV surveillance, and multi-layered access controls. These controls include both biometric scanners and card access systems to ensure only authorized personnel can enter sensitive areas.

LKK1 operates as both a cloud-neutral and carrier-neutral facility. This approach provides clients with complete flexibility and enables seamless integration across various platforms. Customers are not locked into any single provider and can choose the connectivity and cloud services that best suit their specific business requirements.
