Datahouse operates multiple data centers in Alkmaar, Alphen aan den Rijn, Capelle aan den IJssel, Spijkenisse, Den Haag, Amersfoort, and Brussels. These facilities offer a wide range of colocation, rackspace, and network services, with cabinet power options of 16 and 32 amperes available to meet various customer requirements.

Our data centers are equipped with VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) systems, highly sensitive smoke detectors integrated with the Building Management System (BMS). This system is continuously monitored by our Network Operation Center (NOC), enabling rapid fire detection. In case of fire, an environmentally friendly combined gas and water fog suppression system activates immediately, preventing data loss and minimizing business interruptions.

To maintain optimal operating conditions and avoid equipment failure, temperature and relative humidity are carefully controlled within preset levels in all data rooms. IT equipment is installed in closed cold-corridor alleys where cooled air is directed precisely at the hardware for efficient cooling.

Datahouse prioritizes security and reliability, providing high-quality environments with redundant power supply, climate control, and strict access policies. Access to the data centers is restricted 24/7 to authorized personnel only. CCTV monitoring, access cards, locks, and turnstiles secure all locations, and Datahouse engineers are available to support customer operations.

All Datahouse locations are connected by redundant fiber-optic links to key internet nodes in Amsterdam, managed internally to provide bandwidths of multiple 100 Gbit/s. Customers have the option to distribute equipment across multiple sites, benefiting from a dedicated fiber-optic network that supports fail-over IP and server synchronization.

Our data centers feature robust power infrastructure, including 10kV transformers for scalable supply and individual power feeds to customers guaranteed by redundant N+1 UPS systems and on-site backup generators. Power is available in both single-phase 230V and three-phase 400V configurations with various fusing levels.
