The data center features a substantial 810 square meter whitespace designed for high density deployments. It is engineered to accommodate a diverse range of hardware configurations, housing 128 full sized racks with 42 units and 120 partial racks with 20 units. This versatile layout allows for a mix of full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rackspace, all supported by 24 by 7 remote hands to ensure seamless physical management of the infrastructure.
Robust Power Infrastructure
Reliability starts with a massive 1.8 MW fully built out power capacity, fed through a dedicated transformer room. To prevent any single point of failure, the facility employs two redundant UPS systems, each providing 1.08 MW of power. These systems are strategically isolated in separate rooms divided by REI 120 fire resistant partitions, ensuring that even in the event of a localized incident, the power supply remains uncompromised.
Emergency Backup and Energy Security
To safeguard against prolonged grid outages, the center is equipped with two independent diesel generators powered by 65,000 cc engines. These generators are backed by two large underground fuel tanks, capable of maintaining full load operations for 92 hours without refueling. This deep reserve, combined with the 552 unit battery backup stored in fire rated compartments, provides an exceptional layer of operational security for mission critical data.
Advanced Cooling and Climate Control
Thermal management is handled by a sophisticated hydronic cooling system with a total capacity of 1.26 MW. The facility utilizes 2N redundancy for its chillers and N plus 2 redundancy for its 12 internal climate control units. This ensures that temperature and humidity remain within precise thresholds, even during maintenance or equipment failure, preventing hardware degradation and optimizing server performance.
Security Connectivity and Fire Prevention
Safety and access are managed through a multi layered approach, including CCTV surveillance, biometric access control, and card readers. Unlike traditional sprinklers that can damage electronics, the facility uses an active oxygen depletion fire prevention system, which lowers oxygen levels to prevent combustion before a fire can even start. On the networking side, the center is highly integrated, featuring three peering networks to ensure low latency connectivity and high bandwidth availability.
